On Friday, Aug. 6th we went to the Monroe County Fair. Team Scream Monster Trucks were there. Brutus is AJ's favorite Monster Truck. It was nice because it was a smaller venue than Ford Field. The drivers were signing autographs and taking pictures before the show and then they did it again after the show. It was also nice because it was only 7 trucks and they were all from Michigan. All 4 Team Scream trucks were there and then there were 3 more. The trucks that were there were: Avenger, Brutus, Spike Unleashed, Wrecking Crew, Excaliber, Amisoil Shock Therapy, and High Maintenance.
Chris Bergeron, Brutus's driver, won the racing part of the night. Here his is excepting his trophy.
Chris Bergeron talking to the crowd. He was telling them that he was going to give his trophy to some lucky fan. After this he came into the grandstands and was looking for a fan to give it too. He went running past our seats and then turned back. Rich was holding AJ high and AJ was yelling and waving his hands. I was standing next to them yelling and waving the Brutus shirt that I bought. He saw us and came up and GAVE AJ THE TROPHY!!!!!! It was so cool. He then signed the trophy and gave it to us. What a feeling to have AJ's FAVORITE driver/truck come up and give him the trophy that he just won.
After the show we stayed and waited to have a picture with Chris Bergeron and the trophy that he gave us. It was so cool and he was so nice!
Rich, AJ, and Rich Hilgendorf. He drive Spike Unleashed.
The night was awesome and AJ is still smiling about it!!!!!
